UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ISLAM MELAKA (KUIM)

Overview

University College of Islam Melaka (KUIM) is a private higher education institute owned by Melaka Government. KUIM established in year 1996. Melaka Government is very committed in fulfilling the slogan Negeri Melaka Maju 2010. KUIM introduce a new platform in education by combining Islam studies with science and psychology. The aim is to reduce psychology problems in the community and fulfilling the employment demand in private and government.

Nursing Course

Nursing course is offered in nursing faculty. It started its operations in 1995. To date there are 555 Malaysian students (including Sabah and Sarawak) studying this course.

Diploma In Nursing

Diploma in Nursing is a 3 years course (6 semesters) where theory and practical taught. The practicum for the students take place at Putra Specialist Hospital, Segamat Hospital, Terendak Hospital, Temerloh Hospital, Alor Gajah Hospital and Melaka Hospital.This course has been accredited by the MQA and verified by the Nursing Board Malaysia as well as the International Council of Nursing. The lecturers are experienced and well trained in nursing field. A variety of curricular activities conducted to ensure the calmness of students’ state of mind.

  • Requirements

Pass SPM with 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, and any other Science subjects and other 2 subjects any other qualification approved by Malaysian government.
